Man Is Caught In Stolen Car By Patrolman

Richard E. Cox, wanted for auto theft in Live Oak, was apprehended by Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Weldon Ivey Monday night about four miles east of Quincy on U. S. 90.

Cox allegedly stole an automobile in Orlando, wrecked it in Lake City and then stole a 1953 Chevrolet in Live Oak Monday afternoon.

He was picked up at the Gadsden County Jail later Monday night by a member of the Suwannee County Sheriff's Department and returned to Live Oak to face charges.
