Late Gale on Lake Erie.—The Buffalo Patriot says, that "on Friday last we were visited by a most severe gale—the first this season.—The lower town was considerably inundated, some wood was washed away, and most of the cellars were filled with water, but none of the store houses were reached. In the upper village some battlements upon new brick buildings, were blown down, and the roofs crushed and otherwise injured. Several vessels are supposed to have been on the lake, but no damage to them has come to our knowledge."
