Full Text
The Lunatic Asylum.—The democratic editors are greatly incensed because Gov. Campbell has appointed some gentlemen belonging to the whig party Trustees for the Lunatic Asylum. If the Governor could manage to appoint some of the raving democratic editors into the asylum, he would do the state some service and relieve the reading public from an intolerable nuisance. The man who never speaks of an opponent but to censure and find fault, is either a knave or a lunatic, and in either case a little restraint would be beneficial to society.
