Washington athlete, who is now pastor of Rush Memorial Congregational Church, has a group of men who are working hard to develop a community center in the old school building at the institution is a "Men's Day" project Sunday, Oct. 25. Funds will be raised by the Layman's Fellowship for the development of the site. Plans call for pool tables, ping pong (table tennis), a television set, and a high fidelity set to be installed. In addition there will be a reading room, quiet games room and other recreational units.

Jimmy Lee, popular host at Lee's No. II on Mayson-Turner, is blueprinting a personnel staff who will serve as volunteers at the center when the dream comes true. The center will serve Atlanta University, the University-John Hope Homes projects, as well as the surrounding community.
