The Boston Atlas presumes to style the nomination of Gen. Cushing 'a farce.' It will yet prove a tragedy to Massachusetts federalism, if the manifest trepidation of the Atlas and kindred prints is any indication of the result. That paper is already crying out to the Mexican troops of Massachusetts—"Let the drums beat TO ARMS! TO ARMS!!" We say to our democratic friends there, "Rally your forces, gird on your armor and 'give them Jesse;' if the campaign is carried on in the right spirit, you are destined to conquer!"
