Personal. - Within the past week we have been pleased to make the acquaintance of Mr. Thomas Scott, Esq., of Crawfordsville, Ind., while on a flying visit to R. V. Hughes and E. D. Dimitt, relatives of his living in this section. Mr. Scott is now Assistant Door-keeper of the U.S. Senate. He has at different times edited three of the leading county papers in Indiana. His compliments on the general appearance of our country were truly flattering coming from one reared in a well timbered State. May he live to see Nebraska an hundred years hence.
