Cleveland Browns Swap Six For Bobby Garrett

CLEVELAND, (INS)—The Cleveland Browns announced a six-for-two player deal with the Green Bay Packers Friday in their search for a quarterback to replace retired Otto Graham.

Coach Paul Brown said that Cleveland is sending quarterback Vito (Babe) Parilli and halfbacks Billy Kinard and John Petibon, Palumbo and tackle John Macerelli to Green Bay.

In exchange the Packers will give end Carlton Massey, center Sam, quarterback Bobby Garrett and linebacker Roger Zatkoff.

Brown said that Garrett, a former All-American at Stanford, will be given every chance to win the quarterbacking job for the former National Football League champs.
