LOCAL P. S. S. AGENT MAY BE TRANSFERRED

H. G. Weir and wife returned home Monday on the steamship Spokane after an absence from Skagway of almost four months.

Mr. Weir is local agent for the Pacific Steamship company, and while his wife was in Seattle, Tacoma and Spokane, he was in charge of his company's office at Cordova, and when the agent returned to his post of duty Mr. Weir went to Seattle where he visited for the past five weeks.

Mr. Weir expects to be transferred to the Seattle office, but until his successor here has been named, he says that he is not in a position to state definitely just when the transfer will be made. The company will maintain an open office here.
