NOME, Alaska, Oct. 5.—Steamer Derblay is taking out 150 tons of tin ore, an eventual shipment for Singapore for smelting.

The ore came from Cape Prince of Wales. The ore must make a long trip to Singapore as there are no smelters in the United States equipped to handle it.

The tin mines at Cape Prince of Wales have been worked extensively for the last couple of years following more extensive developments of the properties.
