BIG LEAGUERS ON COAST CUT DOWN ON GOLF

By NEA Service

San Francisco, Dec. 16. Big league players who winter on the coast are cutting down on their golf.

In previous years 18 holes every day during the winter months was the steady diet of the major league stars who claim California as their home.

Last summer a number of coast leaguers in the majors had a poor year at the bat. For some reason they believe that too much golf hurt. Willie Kamm is one of the leading examples of that belief.

As a result golf is being taken in small doses.
