We are glad to learn, from every side, that the approaching Southern California District Fair will be extensively attended from all quarters south of Point Concepcion. We shall have heavy delegations from San Bernardino, Santa Barbara and San Diego counties. Doubtless the people of Kern, Tulare and interior Southern counties will organize excursions to Los Angeles during Fair week. It will be an exhibition worth traveling a goodly distance to see. The applications for space are already six-fold those recorded up to the very last day preceding the last fair. For variety of vegetation and vigor of growth no agricultural or pomological display in the State will approach that which will be made in the new Horticultural Pavilion. A creditable energy has characterized every detail of the preparations, and the Fair has been advertised far and wide. We can cheerfully invite outsiders to come and see Southern California at her best.
