Cabs.—The debut of the long looked for cabs in this city will take place next Monday. The delay has been occasioned by the pains and expense bestowed upon them by the gentleman whose invention they are, and who has taken the necessary measures to secure the patent right thereof. They will be most superb affairs; no pains has been spared in rendering them truly elegant in every sense of the word. The start in this city will be made with six cabs next Monday; but there are over one hundred building for Boston, Philadelphia, New Orleans, and other places. The seats will be so near the ground that they cannot upset, and they will travel from one end of the city to the other in one-third of the time that any other conveyance can do it in. They will therefore combine the great advantages of immense speed, safety, comfort and convenience in every possible way.
