Full Text

The following short, but true Character of the late Mrs. M-G-T WRN--R, was design'd in Season for the Press, but by Accident was mislaid.

Her Temper charming, affable and kind;
Her Actions modest, friendly and refin'd:
With brightest Lustre her Religion shone;
The Christian Cause she always made her own:
No impious Thoughts could ever once controul,
Or sway the Sceptre of her spotless Soul:
Her chief Delight was in celestial Laws,
By which she gain'd her God and Friends Applause.
No black Despair her latest Breath perplex;
She liv'd and dy'd a Glory to her Sex.

* The Rev. Mr. B -n's Funeral Sermon.
