Silk in Lincoln County.—We some ago noticed the manufacture of Silk in our county, a skein of which was sent to us, which we noticed as a specimen the industry of some Ladies in our community. We have seen a silk handkerchief, the material of which we are informed, was spun in this county, the weight of which perhaps double that of the best imported from India: it is a very beautiful one and as it has more weight, it is consequently more durable. We are informed that this was spun and manufactured by the Miss Fishers daughters of Joseph Fisher, Esq. We take great pleasure in noticing the enterprise county. As public journalists, we feel it our duty encouraging producing silk is likely to increase in the county these young ladies. As the process of producing silk ty, the Miss Fishers deserve to be recognized certainly entitled to great credit for the fabric of domestic manufacture; they deserve to be remembered as the first who have produced Silk fabric of domestic manufacture; enterprising spirit they have shown.-Tu
