Alfred T. Coston of Clarkdale, and W. O. Witherspoon, of Warren, Monday were named members of the state board of registration by Governor Thomas E. Campbell. Their appointment completes the board, announcement having been made a day or two ago of the appointment of L. M. Fitzhugh, Royal Lescher, L. B. Hitchcock and J. B. Lyman as members and Dean Butler of the college of mines and engineering as ex-officio member.
Coston is a graduate of Kansas university where he received his B. S. degree in mining engineering. For the last eight years he has been in Clarkdale where he is connected with the United Verde Copper company.
Witherspoon is official chief draftsman of the concentrator department of the Phelps-Dodge company at its Copper Queen branch.
