Full Text

Charley Lewis on yesterday received his commission and equipment as postmaster at Perry. At present only tri-weekly service is afforded over the route. The route should be changed, doing away with that portion from Laflin to Rapid, and placing all towns and offices within the Hills from Deadwood to Custer on one route with daily service. Daily service is now established between Custer and the Gap, and a change such as we propose would be to the benefit of a very large number of people.-Times.

The Times hits the nail on the head in suggesting the placing of all points between Custer and Deadwood on one (daily) route and we rise to announce our hearty approval of the same.
