Messrs. Rand, Avery & Co., of Boston have issued a most complete and attractive memorial of the centennial in the form of a journal, the "Bunker Hill Centennial," giving a complete history of the events to be commemorated, with ample illustrations, which will find its way into every New England news depot where it may be obtained. The narration is clear, comprehensive and complete. The illustrations embrace a fac-simile of the original letter from the committee of safety ordering the fortification of Bunker Hill, plan of the city of Boston, representation of the battle itself, portraits, "Star Spangled Banner" in the original handwriting of the author, the monument, and many other interesting illustrations.
