The rectors and directors of the university, at Leyden, have published a declaration in Latin, by which they testify their concern, that a number of students having left that city, and went away in arms to the assistance of the Burgomasters of Utrecht, without the consent of their parents and tutors: they therefore forbid those remaining, and who are under age to do the same without the consent of their parents or tutors, as they intend to make use of the powers given to them to prevent such conduct, in case any one of them intend to follow the example given by those gone away.
