An analysis of the vote of the House of Representatives on the admission of Texas as:

-Of the 141 ayes, 120 are Locofocos, 20 Whigs, and 1 Native, J. I. Campbell of Pa. The twenty whigs are, Messrs. Pendleton, Va., Barringer, Graham and Dockery, N. C. Hon. Butler King, Stephens and Toombs, Ga., Hilliard, Ala., Campbell, Flor., Thibodeaux, La, Baker, Ill. Crozier, Cocke, Gentry and Milton Brown, Tenn., McHenry, Grider, Young, Thompson and Trumbo, Ky.

Of the 56 nays, 44 are Whigs, 5 Natives, Messrs. W. W. Campbell, Levin, Miller, Seaman and Woodruff, and 3 Locofocos, Messrs. Preston King, Wheaton and Wood, of Pa.
