OFFICIAL OF INTERNAL REVENUE DEPT. AND OTHERS GO OUT YESTERDAY
Keith Carlin, assistant attorney for the department of internal revenue, was given another opportunity to try his angling skill yesterday on the Launch Evelyn with Captain Albert Atwell as guide for a party.
The earlier part of the week Mr. Carlin was out and considered the catch a remarkable one.
Yesterday he was astounded when the fish were weighed and totalled almost 300 pounds.
Among the take were Spanish mackerel, barracuda, black grouper, muttonfish, margotfish, hogfish and runners. When taken from the boat they were placed on a rack and photographed by Mr. Carlin that he may, on his return to Washington, show what results are obtained from an afternoon's fishing in the greatest and most productive waters in the world.
Others in the party were Attorney J. Y. Porter, IV, Fred Lee, Mrs. Ilma Louise Wilkins, Mrs. Otto A. Thudium, Miss Betty Maloney and Jack Golden, manager of the Hotel Colonial.
