Arrival of the Pacific—Three Days Later from Europe.

BALTIMORE, January 1.—The steamer Pacific arrived at New York, bringing three days' later intelligence from Europe. She encountered severe storms the entire passage.

Liverpool cotton market was firmer—middling grades had advanced 1d.; fair Orleans quoted at 6½d.; upland, 6d., sales for three days, 15,000 bales, speculators and exporters taking 3,000 bales.

Havre cotton market steady.

Manchester trade active. Flour duller, at 1s decline—quoted at 27s. 6d. to 28s. 3d. Wheat had declined 2d. per bushel. Corn, 81s. to 85s. Provisions quiet—beef declined, sugars and molasses unchanged; coffee steady; tobacco dull. Naval stores were unchanged. Rice steady. Iron firm. Money easy. American stocks were firm. Consols, premium.

The political news is unimportant. The French Senate had voted a dotation of twenty-five millions of francs to the Emperor for the civil list. M. Fould was appointed Minister of State. France is quiet. In England there is considerable opposition to the ministry. Continental affairs generally appear tranquil. The Asia had arrived out.
