DID YOU NOTICE?
Did you notice how the Minneapolis daily press of Tuesday
played down the alleged attack on a twelve-year-old
colored girl by a white man? Imagine if you will the bold face
box car letters with which they would have dressed their
front page stories if the unfortunate child had been white
and the accused had been a Negro!
More damage suits against discriminating restaurants
hotels and taverns will soon stop conditions which are rapidly
growing in the Twin City area. Citizens who pay taxes and
obey the law are entitled to the consideration received by
other citizens.
Any public place which refuses to serve you a cup of
coffee violates our state laws and may be punished by that
law. The offending individual or concern is also subject to
civil action for damages.
A civil suit a day in court will soon brush discrimination
away.
