Full Text

Col. Ready.

His party press are very indignant with Col. READY because he has not seen fit to submit to the becks and nods of Mr. BELL.

The Louisville Journal, which has time left from preaching emancipation and abolitionism in Kentucky, to meddle in the politics of Tennessee, says:

"Hon. Charles Ready, the recent American member of Congress from the eighth district of Tennessee, has announced himself for re-election without regard to a convention. Mr. Ready most unfortunately opposed the conservative course of Senator Bell, and it is therefore probable there will be another nomination by a convention, in which case the Democracy will carry the district."
