UNITED STATES DISGUSTED

Both United States and Mexico Are Going to Let 'Em Scrap It Out Without Interference.

San Salvador, Jun 12. - Although no confirmation has been made public here of the reported capture of Acajutla, Salvador by Nicaraguan forces it is positively known that President Clara embarked troops and war munitions at Corinto, Nicaragua, on the war vessel Momotombo, under the orders of General Manuel Rivas and destined to raise a revolution in Salvador.

Washington, June 12. - There appears little doubt that the latest revolutionary outbreak in Salvador will soon develop actual warfare between Nicaragua and Salvador, although within a fortnight the governments of both countries solemnly ratified the peace treaty of Amapala, obligating themselves to preserve the peace.

The Salvadorean minister here last night received a cablegram from President Figueroa identical to that addressed to the minister of Mexico, reciting the attack on Acajutla by forces of Nicaraguans.

The minister hoped the Washington government would intervene, but there is little foundation for this hope, because, discouraged at the failure of the various Central American leaders to maintain good faith in the agreements they have made, the state department here and that in Mexico have concluded to abstain, for a time at least, from any interference in Central American affairs, except that the state department will request the navy department to return some of the smallest cruisers and gunboats to the scene, to look after foreign interests.

The state department sent a cablegram to the American minister at San Salvador and received the following reply:

"A Nicaraguan vessel from the principal port (undoubtedly meaning Corinto) yesterday landed troops at Corinto for general revolutionary purposes."
