1,024 Republican Majority.
Below we give the official canvass for Presidential electors in this County. The Bell-Everett ticket received one vote in the whole County, and that in Coudersport. A plucky fellow is Joe. It will be seen that the majority is increased 229 over that for Curtin, and the whole vote 41. A large number of democrats did not go to election at all, some even going away from the polls without voting. It is estimated that some 200 voters were not out at all, some of them Republicans. The vote was as follows:
