Full Text

Extract of a letter from the Hague, December 1.

"We have accounts from Copenhagen, that the court having advice that the French squadron was to appear in the Baltic next spring, had resolved to fit out six ships of the line, three of 70, and three of 64 guns, with four frigates, which business is now carrying on, though rather in an underhand manner, and without the officers being appointed, till positive accounts are received of the destination of a French squadron for those seas."

We are impatient to hear what answer the court of London will give the Danish minister, who was ordered to ask in what manner the men of war and armed vessels of Great Britain mean to conduct themselves towards such Danish vessels as they meet after the 10th of November; a categorical answer is said to be required.
