Full Text

We are informed, by Letters from Exeter, of the Abatement of the Small-Pox, which has, for some Time past, raged violently there; and it was further remarked in the same Letters, that a Tradesman in that City who had five Children ill of the Distemper, allowed them no other Drink than Water and Toast, with which the Pox filled extremely well, and the Children all recovered without suffering the usual Inconveniences incident to that Distemper; it is certainly a very right Thing to give these Notices to the Public in Distempers of Epidemic as the Small-Pox; because they may happen to be useful to such as have it not in their Power to have recourse to other Advice.
