Seek Divorce

LOS ANGELES, April 13. (UP)- Sanger E. French, 70-year-old real estate dealer, after 50 years, seven months and 28 days of marriage, has called it quits.

"I just couldn't please her no matter what I did," he explained in obtaining a divorce from Mrs. Alix French, by default.

"I should have brought this action 25 years ago but it wasn't expedient from the standpoint of finances," he said.

The couple married July 6, 1893 at Riverside, Cal., and separated last March 4.
