The house of delegates of Maryland have adjourned to March 20, it is said, after doing those things which they ought not to have done, and leaving undone those things which they ought to have done. The paper money plan has caused a disagreeable variance to exist between the senate and delegates, their bill for emitting paper money having been unanimously rejected by the senate as utterly incompetent to afford relief. The senate express a desire to co-operate in some other measures that might be calculated to afford relief, but have not authority to originate them. They regret that the house adjourned without considering the requisitions of Congress in matters of highest import—that no delegates were chosen to meet in convention at Philadelphia in May next, on commercial matters, &c. &c.
