While the suit of Charles A. Sulzer et al against the Treasurer of the Territory of Alaska is working its way through the courts in the effort to restrain the Treasurer in the disbursement of moneys in the Forestry Fund to districts other than those in which the moneys were actually earned, warrants have been issued from the Treasurer's office to the amount of $12,097, which amounts to a trifle over one fifth of the entire fund of $60,000. The greater part of this disbursement has gone to the Second Division, the Nome roads having used up all of the appropriation for that section.
This morning J. G. Held as attorney for the plaintiffs in this suit, asked for an extension of time until Monday morning. The request was granted. J. H. Cobb represents the Territory.
