Full Text

We are informed, that one of the Lieutenants of the Minerva, who had kept his bed, through indisposition some days, was so animated at the prospect of coming to action with the Warwick, that he kept the deck, and gallantly performed his duty, but was obliged after the victory to retreat from his fatigues. What appears remarkable in this affair, is, that his bed was shot to pieces: so that had he continued inactive, which his sickness would have sufficiently justified, he had fell a victim to the enemy. - Fortune favours the brave.
