Dear Craig:

I received the copy of The Nogales International last week and it was just like news from home. I really enjoyed reading all the local news and seeing a lot of the home town people's names again. It made me rather homesick for the old home town.

After travelling over most of the good old U. S. in the last fourteen months since I left Nogales to join the army I have never seen any place I would rather live than there. And as far as people are concerned I think Nogales has the best in the world, all in all.

Thanks a lot Craig for sending the International and keep up the good reporting.

I hope to visit Nogales again soon for a day or two at least, if everything goes as planned for a short leave to visit my family and friends.

Yours truly,
LT. ROY S. GARDNER
