Accident. About 10 o'clock yesterday morning, Wm. S. Campbell fur merchant in Water-street, while in the third loft of his store, fell through the opening through which goods are drawn up. He alighted on his feet, on the first floor, breaking both ankles very badly, the bones being driven through the flesh. On cutting off his boots, the extent of the injury was ascertained, and he was immediately sent to his house. It is remarkable that, although a very heavy man, he is conscious of having received no internal injury from the fall.—N. Y. Tribune.
