"Rosta," as the Russian Telegraph agency, the official news agency of the Soviet government, is generally called, has adopted radio for supplying "official" news to Russian newspapers. By the first of January radio receiving sets will have been installed in the offices of 40 newspapers within a radius of 500 miles of Moscow, extending from Archangel on the edge of the Arctic circle down to Nikolayev on the Black sea and from Minsk in the west to Samara on the Volga river.
