A glorious Republican rally is reported from Paradise and Golconda. Mr. Nixon made a good, strong talk which won him many new friends in both places and convinced all who heard him that there is only one way to vote and that is a straight Republican ticket. Mr. Paul McCulloch, who was to speak with Mr. Nixon in Paradise, went to Austin instead. He reports a good meeting, full house and much enthusiasm. Mr. McCulloch has no doubt that the national ticket and state ticket will be carried by the Republicans. Mr. McCulloch also spoke in Golconda yesterday and tonight we will have the pleasure of listening to Mr. Geo. Nixon and Mr. McCulloch in Armory hall.

Public Reception

Mr. and Mrs. Nixon will hold a reception tonight at Armory hall after the speaking, to which they extend a most cordial invitation to everybody to attend. There will be dancing and they desire all to come and enjoy themselves.
