At Monday night's meeting representatives for Greenbelt's 2600 members to the governing Congress of Greenbelt Consumer Services continued for a third month to make a record about twice as good as last year's in attendance. Nine of the delegation of thirteen met with six visitors and two of staff.
Most consideration went to the ceremonies of the new store's opening, now estimated for November 10. The committee for this purpose submitted a plan, written by Al Herling and already accepted in outline by the Board. The delegation approved it for further development.
