Fireman Holt Loses Right Hand.

Franklin, Neb., June 4.-Charles Holt, a fireman on the Burlington railroad, met with an accident here this morning that resulted in his losing four fingers and the greater part of his right hand. He was firing on train No. 63 and when the train was leaving here he in some way slipped, falling from the engine, one wheel of the tender passing over his hand. Dr. Feese dressed the wound. Mr. Holt was well known here. He attended the Franklin academy several years.-Special to Lincoln Journal.
