Mrs. Alice Taylor of 43 Norre Gade reported to the police that on June 21 Robert Lockton, owner of the Spanish Main, entered her home, brushed past her maid, and proceeded to search through a stack of papers belonging to his wife, who is a boarder in the house. Mrs. Taylor said that Mrs. Betty Lockton confronted her husband in the office of Atty. James Bough, Mr. Lockton's counsel, and tried to grab the papers out of his hands but she succeeded in getting only a few pieces. Thereupon, Mrs. Taylor said, Mr. Lockton dashed out through a back door. She asked for the filing of charges by the police, who were consulting with the District Attorney.
Mr. Lockton is suing for divorce and a pre-trial conference in connection with the suit was held on Monday in the District Court.
