MARRIAGE LICENSES

After having been refused a marriage license last week because he was but 17, Bernard Davis, Ypsilanti, appeared at the county clerk's office Tuesday, on his 18th birthday, and received a license to wed Miss Kitty Merritt, 20, also of this city.

Other licenses issued Tuesday were to Harry Chatterton, 29, and Margaret Merriman, 19, Ann Arbor; Robert Heisserman, 24, Ann Arbor, and Dorothea K. Lieblein, 25, Hancock; George Elliott Leeds, 23, and Antonetta P. Feretti, 21, Ann Arbor; Herman S. Bayer, 22, Detroit, and Adele Ann Allen, 22, Ann Arbor.
