Messrs. PRINTERS,
I SEE by the Centinel, Mr. Ruel, for himself and friends, has undertaken to Electioneer for us in New-Hampshire, particularly in recommending a Governor to us-- we do think we have a right to choose for ourselves ; but as this is not the first time of his interference, I think he can't take it amiss if we pay him in the same manner ; and as the Election for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. is near at hand, I will for the sake of information to our friends in the Province of Maine, recommend their attention, and to firmly unite in the choice of
Honorable ELBRIDGE GERRY. for Governor, and WILLIAM HEATH, for Lieutenant Governor, for their next choice.
These are the men who dared to be honest in the worst of times--These are men who will look to the interest of the Farmer and Mechanic, as well as the Merchant and Fisherman--and from every information, they will be handsomely supported by every class of Citizens; and by uniting, no doubt, they will elect the men of their choice.
