ROCKDALE SCHOOL
Rockdale Elementary school received M. R. Austell as its newly elected principal. The faculty and community welcomed him and will endeavor to make his stay a happy one.
Several new teachers were added to the faculty. Included are: Mrs. M. P. Odom, fifth grade; Mrs. Mildred P. Thomas, sixth grade; Mrs. H. E. Miller, kindergarten.
PTA meeting will be held at the school on Tuesday night, Nov. 13 at eight o'clock at which time the new principal and the new teachers will be presented. Dr. R. A. Billings will speak on "The Balanced Diet and Johnny's Reading."
An attendance cup will be awarded to the grade with the largest number of parents present.
