Start Building Of Falls New View Home

Construction is underway on the new home of Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Wykhuis, Seattle on the View rim facing Bad Rock canyon at Sixth street East.

Ray McKinley and Alfred Brunett placed the concrete footings. Ed Anderson will build the native rock fireplace. Erecting a stone retaining wall are Norman Mundhenk and Ernest Anderson who work with Ed Anderson.

Leonard Nash and Rev. Leo Hinton are doing carpentry work.

The modern designed log home will have a triangular shaped living room with the fireplace at the apex, and the base including two 8 by 6 foot thermopane windows facing Bad Rock canyon. The room will be 31 feet across at the base.

Dr. Wykhuis is a dentist traveling for dental supply firm, and will spend part of his time here.
