Full Text

Sales Promotion-
The Putnam merchant who does avail himself of the opportunity to attend the sales promotion course in "Store Organization," which the Chamber of Commerce is jointly sponsoring with the State Bureau of Vocational Organization, will have only himself to blame if sales drop off, for the time for salesmanship is now.
The days of shortages are over; supplies are greater than the demand for them. Once more, the lost art of salesmanship must return.
The progressive merchant, realizing it, will make every effort to have his employees attend the Thursday night courses in the four functional divisions of retail business: merchandising, management, promotion and control.
