Massachusetts.—Meetings will be held on Monday next, in the several towns of this Commonwealth, for the choice of Delegates to meet in Convention in Boston, in November, for the purpose of amending the Constitution of the State. It is expected that the Convention will be composed of above 600 members.—Boston will choose forty-five Delegates, and the list of candidates recommended to the electors comprises the names of some of the most distinguished men in the Commonwealth. This list, which appears to have been determined on without reference to old political divisions, includes the names of four respectable Clergymen, and it is understood that many of the towns will honour their Clergy with seats in the Convention.
