Farm Bureau
to Organize
At Meeting
Monday Night

An organizational meeting of the Montana Farm Bureau will be Monday night at 8 in the Elks building.

All farmers, ranchers and other interested citizens are urged to attend. Stan Burger, director of the Montana unit, will explain the program, its function and beliefs. The meeting has been called by Dean Switzer, Richey farmer and director of the McCone county farm bureau.

The bureau says it is a voluntary. non-partisan. farmer controlled organization designed primarily as a lobby group representing American farmers. It is financed by dues from member farmers and does not accept donations from labor, business or industrial groups Philosophy of the bureau, as outlined in its pamphlet, "Freedom or Fetters,"is to make sure that our children's children and grandchildren inherit a free nation and not a slave state."

The pamphlet further states, "Farmers are only about 10 per cent of our total population. They need a general farm organization. That is what the Farm Bureau is. That is exactly what it should be."

"You can invest a very small amount of money in Farm Bureau and feel that you are helping to provide a free America for the next generation and a better way of life for yourself.
