CHILLICOTHE (Ohio) August 26.

THE PRESIDENT'S TOUR.

On Saturday advices were received that the President of the United States had reached Detroit, and would visit this place on his return to Washington. Arrangements were immediately commenced for his reception, and Governor Worthington set out from Columbus to meet him. He is expected to arrive in town this day, or to-morrow. Generals Brown and Macomb, and Governor Cass accompany him. He proceeds, we understand, by way of Tarlton, Lancaster, Zanesville, &c.
