Urging The Use
OF FLOUR SUBSTITUTES.
G. R. McConnell, the Albany county chairman of the federal food administration, this morning received a letter from T. C. Diers of Sheridan, the state administrator, urging him to ask the people of this city to continue the use of substitutes for flour until the stocks on hand have been disposed of.
Mr. Diers says it still is necessary to conserve food, and Mr. McConnell believes it will be the part of wisdom, as well as patriotism, to continue as we have been going for several months, in preventing waste of these foodstuffs in the hands of the dealers.
