Angered by seeing her husband eating in a restaurant with another woman, Rose Gibbs, alleged common law wife of Bailey Craig, 50, of 3012 Rivard street, fatally wounded Craig early Monday morning, by plunging a knife blade into his heart.

According to police records, Craig was in a Hastings street restaurant, near Brewster, in company with a woman whose name is not known, when his wife entered and joined the couple. The three later left the restaurant together, the strange woman going her way, while Craig and his wife started for home. On the way home, the two quarrelled. Rose, it is said, drew a switch-blade knife and stabbed Craig in the left chest.

Craig was dead upon admittance to the Receiving Hospital.
