Collections For Month Pass Million Mark; Heaviest Of Year
Okanogan county will receive $7,666 as its share of the July apportionment of $504,547 in secondary highway funds. The amount represents the counties' share of June gasoline tax receipts. Gross collections last month totaled $1,175,176, largest of any month so far this year.
Amounts received by other counties under the apportionment include:
Adams, $9,161; Asotin, $4,466; Benton, $8,902; Chelan, $11,532; Columbia, $6,312; Douglas, $6,558; Ferry, $4,566; Franklin, $6,050; Garfield, $6,217; Grant, $6,537; Kittitas, $9,991; Lincoln, $11,372; Pend Oreille, $6,689; Spokane, $21,399; Stevens, $8,916; Walla Walla, $11,413; Whitman, $16,460; Yakima, $26,430.
