A Singular And Sudden Death. The Pajaro (Santa Cruz) Times of the 9th inst. relates the following:

Thursday night last, near Porter's tannery, Soquel, John Freshour fell dead. He had been after a physician to see his wife; and returning, a portion of a bridge broke through with him. He got his horse out, and felt uninjured himself; proceeded home, sat down awhile, and then went to the stable to see if his horse was hurt. While examining the horse he fell dead. He leaves a wife and six children.
